William Davison of Alnwick (1781-1858) worked as both a printer and a pharmacist in Alnwick, Northumberland. In the period between 1812 and 1817, Davison produced a number of caricatures, amusing if somewhat crudely executed plates in the manner of Gilray, Rowlandson and Bunbury.
