After the engraving of 'Psittacus fimbriatus - Fringe Crested Cockatoo, from New South Wales in the Museum of Major General Davies', published in Lieutenant James Grant's 'The narrative of a voyage of discovery performed in His Majesty's vessel, the Lady Nelson', 1803. From Bilderbuch Zum Nutzen und Vergnugen Der Jugend by Friedrich Justin Bertuch (1747-1822), an encyclopedic collection of Interesting Animals, Plants, Flowers, Fruits, Minerals, Costumes, Antiquities and other Interesting Objects published in multiple volumes between 1801 and 1815. Accompanied by original descriptive text in French and German. One small line mark lower right.
