'Shooting _ Plate II', engraving from George Stubb's famous set of four shooting engravings. George Stubbs was an English painter, famous for his paintings of horses and sporting pursuits. William Woollett (1735-85) was an important English 18th century line engraver. Originally published by Thomas Bradford in 1770, this impression c1800 _ printed on laid Whatman paper watermarked 1794. Toning mark from previous mount.
