A pair of Georgian stipple engravings. Thomas Gaugain, was born in France, but attended the Royal Academy in London and pursued an artistic career in England, engraving decorative stipple engravings. Thomas Barker was born in Wales but settled in Bath. He specialized in rustic genre paintings, fancy pictures, studies of local characters, and landscapes. Trimmed to just outside the platemark. Some very faint foxing.
