The Governor of Victoria, Henry Barkly (1815-1898), can be seen through the window. Charles Gavan Duffy and others sit at the table seen through the door. From 'Melbourne Punch'. Melbourne Punch began in 1855. From 1855-1861 Nicholas Chevalier was one of the principal cartoonists most of whose work was engraved by Samuel Calvert. Reverse blank.
