From a series titled 'Les Alarmistes et Les Alarmes' (The scaremongers and the scared) which appeared between April and June 1848 in the French magazine 'Le Charivari'. A bourgeois couple is so profoundly shocked by the current revolutionary events that even a group of children playing soldiers, is frightening them.
