Anne Hussey (Delaval), Lady Stanhope (died 1811) was the wife of Sir William Stanhope of Whig Park. James Watson (c1739-1790) was born in Ireland. He moved to London and became one of the leading mezzotint-engravers of his day. He produced many excellent plates including about 50 after Reynolds, his Lady Stanhope is believed to one of his finest.
