Robert Havell (1769-1832) and his son Robert Havell (1793-1878) were prominent aquatint engravers. Indeed Havell Jn was later commissioned to aquatint JJ Audubon's Birds of America. They collaborated on several important series of colour aquatints of the early 19th century.
