Details

Vanity Fair portrait of Prince Henry of Orleans (1867-1901). In 1897 he was defeated in a duel with swords by Vittorio Emanuele, Grand Duke of Turin. Jean Baptiste Guth (1883 - 1921) was a French artist who contributed caricatures to Vanity Fair as "Guth". A couple of tiny foxing spots above the title.
