Westralia' Vanity Fair portrait of Albert Frederick Calvert (1872-1946) who was an author, traveller and mining engineer. He financed the Calvert Scientific Exploring Expedition which took place in central and northern Western Australia in 1896 and 1897, using camels as the principal means of transport. Thin margins at top and bottom of the sheet.
