1802. Copper-line engraving. 1802. 170mm by 210mm (platemark). William Bligh (1754-1817) landed on Timor with his followers after the rest of the crew had mutineered. He eventually made it back to England where the mutineers were tried.

Corbould was a student of the Royal Academy, under Fuseli, where he gained the silver medal for a study from the life. While at the Academy he made the friendship.....
