Frederick James Sargood (1805-73) was Chairman of the first Municipal Council of Prahran 1856-58. Peter Snodgrass was a member of the first Prahran Council.Melbourne Punch began in 1855. From 1855-1861 Nicholas Chevalier was one of the principal cartoonists most of whose work was engraved by Samuel Calvert. Item #117
