Mezzotint. C1780. 620mm by 380mm (platemark). Anne Hussey (Delaval), Lady Stanhope (died 1811) was the wife of Sir William Stanhope of Whig Park.James Watson (c1739-1790) was born in Ireland. He moved to London and became one of the leading mezzotint-engravers of his day.
