He published many works on agriculture and husbandry. 'La nouvelle maison rustique' considers a diverse range of subjects including flower, fruit and physic gardens, wine production, fish-culture, bee-keeping, birds, dogs, horses, hunting, cookery, domestic architecture and forestry."
