'Charbon de Terre, ou Mineral' A pair of engravings depicting the techniques for coal and mineral mining. From a smaller size edition of Diderot and d'Alembert's Encyclopedie (1751-80). Innocente Alessandri and Pietro Scattaglia were Italian engravers and publishers who worked together in Venice.
