The Steam Yacht Saide

Wood-engraving with later hand-colouring. 1899. 185mm by 235mm (sheet). Saide was an axillary brigantine of 383 tons register. It was owned by Charles Gibson Millar and named after his youngest daughter Saide. As a member of the Royal Yacht Squadron it was the only yacht "south of the line" that was permitted to fly the white ensign of the Royal navy. Laid down. Small crease bottom left corner.
