Steel-engraving. 1874. 120mm by 190mm (image) 210mm by 270mm (sheet). Prout was an English artist who emigrated to Sydney in 1840. From 1844-1848 he lived and worked in Tasmania. A number of his works were used for engravings in Edwin Carton Booth's 'Australia'. From 'Australia' by Edwin Carton Booth. CONDITION : One tiny spot in the sky. Some soiling at the bottom of the sheet. A couple of faint marks in the margins. Item #4027
