Photogravure, 1914. 230mm by 175mm (platemark) 300mm by 235mm (sheet size). Donald Macbeth was a commercial photographer who seems to have held a quasi-official position at the British Museum, where he regularly photographed the galleries, staff and the collection between at least 1906 and 1932.
